Port Pirie lunch – Women in Business Regional Network – Tue 3/8/2021
August 3 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm ACST
Women in Business lunch – Port Pirie – Tuesday 3 August – Black Pig Cafe at the Fam Hotel in Port Pirie (11.45am for a 12noon start)
“How to network like a boss – making the most of your networking”
Networking – it’s not just attending an event, handing out your business cards and ticking job well done! Great networking can turn the connections you make into your best customers, advocates, and brand ambassadors but you need to know how to network like a boss!
Come along to our Port Pirie lunch at the Black Pig Cafe at the Fam Hotel, when we have Nan Berrett as our guest speaker, and find out how you can create business success by including networking into your plans for growth.
We will find out how to create a 1-minute elevator pitch, business catch phrase/slogan, best ideas for business cards, email sign-offs and more including how to network when attending an online event.
Nan is based in the Clare Valley, and has clients all over the place. She is passionate about supporting business start-ups, as well as those who have been running their enterprise for a while but are keen to scale up. Her presentation has been very well received at other chapters, as she shared tactics to help make the most of any networking opportunities, including how to network successfully during a pandemic by using online tools and tips.
A mentor through the Office of the Chief Entrepreneur’s FIXE program, Nan is also a workshop presenter and mentor through the Australian Small Business Advisory Service Digital Solutions Program. An award-winning former journalist, Nan now provides the business support for most aspects of small business marketing and development, including mentoring. She has grown her business, Word Solutions, over the past 9 years almost exclusively through networking.
The function is open to all women in business – members and non-members, those who manage, own or work in a business or those who think they’d like to be in business.
The atmosphere is relaxed and supportive. You’re encouraged to also bring a friend along too who might also have interests in this area. Come along and find out more about the opportunities it presents for you.
