Cindy takes out national catering award … again

Langhorne Creek foundation member Cindy Westphalen of Cindy’s Classic Gourmet is back in the winner’s circle scoring a win and a top 5 at the Australian Bridal Industry Association’s National Designer of Dreams Awards held on the Gold Coast this month.

Cindy was named the winner of the Wedding Catering category and was placed in the top five of the Wedding Planner category.

Cindy’s Classic Gourmet is almost a household name at the ABIA awards and was inducted into the ABIA Hall of Fame in 2015 and been a three-time winner of the catering award nationally.

In the Designer of Dreams Awards wedding businesses from throughout Australia are recognised and merited for their consistent excellence as per the positive feedback from their very own wedding customers between 2015 to 2018.

More than 105,000 newlyweds provided the nominations and rated the nominees on product, service, value for money and attitude.

A total of 4579 wedding businesses were nominated for 34 award categories.  This was shortlisted to 336 finalists.

As well as Cindy’s Classic Gourmet, Cindy has also restored and opened Woodburn Cottage at Langhorne Creek as a wedding venue and organised the inaugural Langhorne Creek Wedding Trail earlier this year.

The network is looking forward to having her join the panel as a speaker at our inaugural Christmas party to be held at McCracken Country Club in Victor Harbor on Friday, December 6.
