Up to 5 dot points about your business journey:
I want to live in a world that supports women, their inner beauty and brilliance.
As a woman in her 50s I’ve raised her family, worked hard at building a career and was starting to take life in the slow lane. In my true fashion I realised “slow down” wasn’t for me and decided to turn life upside down.
From that point I entered the world of entrepreneurship. Within six months I had started running a successful business selling ladies affordable, quality clothing at local markets and started my flagship online store.
When you don’t see me at the markets or networking around the area you will find me busily planning for the next stage of my business (lookout for the exciting announcement in July) and spending time with my family and friends.
Name two things you’ve learned from your business journey:
- You don’t have to have all the answers; find people who do;
- Networking with like-minded people is a great opportunity to learn, grow and make business connections
Why did you join the Women in Business Network? To meet/support other like-minded women in the area. Having moved from a regional area to Adelaide 16 years ago I still feel a strong affinity with regional areas.
