What area do you serve? Narromine, Dubbo and surrounding communities in the Central West NSW.

How long have you been in business? Since 2004

Did you found the business? Yes

Please provide some dot points about your business journey:

  1. Authorised by the Commonwealth Attorney-General’s office in late 2004
  2. Spent nine years working in remote locations in Arnhem Land, NT, and north-west Queensland
  3. Published author of children’s books and experienced technical writer, which has helped me craft beautiful, bespoke ceremonies
  4. Keen to network with other wedding industry providers and business experts, and to share my skills in return.

Name two things you’ve learned from your business journey?

  1. Never stop adapting because the world is constantly changing and you need to change with it if you are to stay ‘relevant’.
  2. Give more than you take, because what goes around eventually comes around.

Why did you join the Women in Business Network?

I have recently moved from living in remote locations to an urban area, and am rediscovering the joy of rebuilding my business, but also the challenges after being out of the groove for so long.
